Restorative Yoga

Gentle, Grounding, and Healing — From the Comfort of Home

This online restorative yoga class is specially designed to support individuals living with brain injuries, including concussion, TBI, and stroke. Together in a calming virtual space, we focus on rest, regulation, and gentle connection to the body through supported poses, breath awareness, and guided relaxation.

No special equipment is needed—just bring what you have at home. Common items like pillows, blankets, towels, or even a couch can be used to create comfort and support. Movements are minimal, transitions are slow, and cues are clear and simple to help reduce sensory overload.

Class includes:

  • Breathwork and grounding practices
  • Fully-supported, accessible postures
  • Emphasis on nervous system regulation
  • A welcoming, low-pressure environment for rest and recovery

This class is sensory-considerate and trauma-informed. No yoga experience is needed, and all bodies, energy levels, and cognitive needs are welcome. Come as you are and take the time to rest and restore in community—right from your own space.
