About Tides of Healing Collective

Transformative experiences for times of transition.

Tides of Healing Collective creates accessible spaces for people navigating change — in their bodies, minds, identities, circumstances, or seasons of life.

We don't believe healing means fixing yourself or rushing toward the other side of change. Sometimes healing looks like adapting, grieving, resting, connecting, discovering something new, or learning to live more fully within the life you have right now.

Tides of Healing is a place to meet yourself where you are.

What We Do

There isn't one right way to move through change, so there isn't just one way to engage with Tides of Healing.

Our offerings bring together movement, rest, rhythm, reflection, education, creativity, and community through:

1:1 Support — individualized support and private experiences shaped around you.

Group Experiences — spaces to practice, learn, connect, and explore alongside others.

Explore On Your Own — resources, practices, and conversations you can return to in your own time.

The offerings may evolve. The intention stays the same: to create spaces where you don't have to pretend to be somewhere other than where you are.

Our Approach

Tides of Healing isn't built around a single modality. Depending on the experience, you might encounter yoga, movement, meditation, breathwork, sound, rhythm, education, reflection, creativity, conversation, or rest.

These are tools, not requirements.

We value accessibility, agency, curiosity, community, and choice. There is room to participate differently, ask for adaptations, rest, observe, change your mind, and discover what works for you.

You are the expert on your experience. We're here to create space for you to listen.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Morgan.

My path to Tides of Healing has been anything but linear.

I studied kinesiology and Spanish before attending medical school and beginning a residency in Family Medicine. Then, a traumatic brain injury changed the trajectory of my life — and my understanding of healing along with it.

I had to reconsider many of the expectations I'd held for my body, my career, and my future. Even my relationship with yoga changed. I needed less pushing and more listening; less emphasis on what a practice was supposed to look like and more curiosity about what might actually support the body and brain I had.

Tides of Healing grew from that shift.

Today, I bring together my background in medicine and kinesiology, years of yoga teaching and adaptive practice, yoga therapy training, and lived experience to create spaces that make room for complexity, change, and being human.

And Tides of Healing continues to evolve alongside me — beyond any one modality and, eventually, beyond any one person.

Training & Background

I hold a B.A. in Kinesiology and Spanish and an M.D. from Wake Forest School of Medicine, with postgraduate training in Family Medicine. I'm an RYT-500 yoga teacher and Resident Yoga Therapist, completing clinical practicum work toward C-IAYT certification.

My additional training includes adaptive yoga, chair yoga, brain-injury-informed yoga, and LoveYourBrain Yoga, alongside continued study in movement, sound, rhythm, facilitation, and embodied and contemplative practices.

Come As You Are

You don't need to have the next chapter figured out before you begin.

You don't need to be more flexible, more productive, more healed, or more certain.

You can start where you are.
