A gentle, grounding practice with no standing and no transitions to standing.
Grounded Yoga is designed for anyone who feels safest and most supported staying close to the ground. In this class, we remain seated, lying down, or on hands-and-knees for the entire practice — no standing, no balance poses, and no up-and-down transitions.
You are welcome to practice on a yoga mat, a cushioned surface, or on your bed if getting down to the floor is difficult or if bed feels more comfortable for your body.
Each class includes slow, accessible movements; breath practices; optional self-massage; and plenty of rest. Everything is offered with clear, simple cues and multiple variations to support dizziness, fatigue, pain, POTS, sensory overwhelm, or limited mobility.
This class is great if you:
Prefer (or need) to avoid standing and balance work
Experience dizziness, headaches, or fatigue
Live with brain injury, chronic illness, or chronic pain
Want a calming practice that meets your body exactly where it is
Come as you are — pillows, blankets, pajamas, and pets are welcome.
